A call to action may be a button or a form, that askes the customer to provide specific information. Or in some cases, the call to action may simply be a button that sends the user to another area of the website.
So, as an example, a blogger may have a CTA that states: “click here to check out my blog” or, if the blogger is trying to build up a mailing list then they’d have something like “sign up to my newsletter”. In other cases, the call to action may simply be a Buy Now button, which is crucial for any ecommerce site.
Other call to actions could be something as simple as adding your social media icons to your site and asking users to click through to them.
